Join us for the opening of the exhibit "Miniature Menageries: The History and Artists Behind Hagen-Renaker, Inc."
Hagen-Renaker, Inc. is a local company that has been making ceramic figurines for over 70 years! The exhibit displays the history of the company while highlighting the artistry of its four main designers: Maureen Love, Helen Perrin Farnlund, Tom Masterson, and Nell Bortells.
The evening will include a performance by Susan Nikas and Les Johnson. Susan Nikas is the owner of Hagen-Renaker, Inc. and daughter of the original owners, John and Maxine Renaker.
The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to attend.
***We have limited parking spots for anyone with mobility issues. Due to the very limited number of spots available, please notify Elizabeth Gomez evgomez@cpp.edu ASAP to reserve a spot. For anyone with a placard, there are a limited number of Handicapped parking spots across from the Library on Camphor Lane.***
For regular parking: Parking is available in the Parking Structure (see map below). Parking permits are $8 per day or 2 hour parking is available after 4 p.m. From the north-west end of the parking lot, you will walk past Voorhis Park, the CLA building (98-T), and three smaller classrooms (13A-B-C). You will come upon the back end of the library which will lead you to a 1st floor entrance. Follow the hallway of classrooms until you reach automatic glass sliding doors. Once you pass through those doors the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Library will be on your right and to the right of Starbucks.
